Jordan Williams is the Executive Director & Co-founder of the New Zealand Taxpayers’ Union.
His background is in law and accounting and in 2011 he was spokesperson for Vote for Change, a lobby group that campaigned against the retention of the MMP electoral system. He is admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand, and practiced constitutional and commercial law, before founding the union in late-2013.
The Taxpayers’ Union has 17 staff, spread across two cities, more than 23,000 donors, and more than 200,000 subscribed supporters (representing about 1 in 14 New Zealand voters).
Jordan serves on the Advisory Board of the UK TaxPayers’ Alliance and in 2019 Jordan was elected onto the Board of World Taxpayers Associations. In 2023 he was elected Chair/President of the World Taxpayers Association.
