Americans for Tax Reform is hosting the third edition of the Taxpayer Leaders Forum (TLF) and the Coalition Leaders Forum (CLF) respectively on May 13th and on May 14th, in Istanbul (Turkey) together with the succeeding European Resource Bank (May 15th-17th).
Taxpayer Leaders Forum on May 13th from 2pm to 5pm
This roundtable event will allow leaders, and prospective leaders of taxpayer groups to exchange successful strategies, compare notes and share technologies. This peer-to-peer discussion will be focused on successful projects undertaken by different groups over the past year. We invite participants to bring reports and other materials about particular strategies and projects they may wish to share with their colleagues in other countries. This will be an excellent opportunity for new leaders and prospective activists to learn from successful taxpayer groups. Sharing of your unique experiences will provide valuable insights to those already enjoying success and those learning how to start a taxpayer group.
Coalition Leaders Forum on May 14th from 9am to 12pm
We are pleased to host this discussion gathering the chairs of “center-right” and free-market coalition meetings currently taking place internationally, as well as prospective leaders interested in starting a coalition meeting in their respective countries. Topics will include best practices, recommended invitees, problem solving, and coalition building strategies. We ask those who attend not only to broadcast a recording of their coalition meeting during this event but also to share their unique experiences in order to provide valuable insights to those already enjoying success and those just learning how to start a coalition meeting.
