Graduated from business school Ecole de Haut Enseignement Commercial pour les Jeunes Filles in 1970, Benoîte worked in the 1st French TV organization: ORTF for economic information, 1970- 1972. She was elected at Paris Council from 1983 to 2001.
Benoîte served as the mayor of the 2nd district of Paris 1989-2001. In 1995, she was first on the Jacques Chirac team and as an independent. This was the first time a woman was elected as a mayor in Paris, and the first time as an independent candidate.
From 1995 to 2001, Benoîte was president of Contribuables Associés; and then served as managing director from 2002 to 2014. Additionally, she was speaker from 2001 to 2016, and as the vice president of the Taxpayer Association of Europe. She is a wife and mother of 8 children.
